Persecution in Eritrea.

Listening to Radio Australia last night I was shocked to hear a BBC report from Eritrea in Africa. Eritrea is small East African County bordered by Ethopia, Sudan and Djibouti. Christians are being tortured and being asked to recant their faith. In May 1992 the government banned all faiths except for Orthodox, Catholic, Lutheran and Islam. Pentecostal and Evangelical Churches have been especially targeted with many christians having to flee the country. Reports of Christians being locked in shipping containers and being tortured abound. Patriarch Abune Antonios, the head of the Eritrean Orthodox Church afo has been under house arrest for almost two years. Check these news reports yourselves.

Please pray for the Church in Eritrea.

I don't like bloglines much either. There is another program called Google Reader which I think is easier to use(just log into google and click on the more link and it is listed) I have a lot of RSS feeds which I look at each day. I have installed a pice of software onto my computer called Feedreader. It opens when I turn my computer on so my feeds are there waiting
